The Elephant and Castle Community Fund provides funding for local projects which enrich our neighbourhood.

Elephant and Castle Community Fund
£75k fund for community projects

The fund was established by Lendlease and Southwark Council in 2012. Since then it has been joined by Get Living and the total amount of money available has increased from £50k to £75k per year.

Since 2012, the fund has awarded amore than £600k to local community organisations and has helped thousands of local people.

From film projects to language and drama classes, the range of projects funded, reflects the amazing breadth of talent and initiative that exists in Elephant and Castle.

In 2024, eight local organisations shared £75k in funding. The successful applicants were:

  • Lamlash Street Allotment Society
  • Parent Action Southwark
  • Sculpt
  • Climate Ed
  • Inspire Walworth
